Personality
Holmes is a spontaneous star-child with the heart of a little kid. He has a contagious laugh and is very hard to make an enemy out of. He is very intelligent, which can sometimes come off as surprising to others since he finds enjoyment in the simplest of things and hardly ever seems serious. He is creative and intuitive, always having a solution to a problem. Many go to him for advice because of this and he is really good at lifting spirits when someone is feeling down. He is curious and does not seem to be frightened by too much. He takes risks and lives his life on the edge. When you get closer to him, you will find he has a quieter side. He likes to get away from the daily rush and just sit outside at night watching the sky. He keeps a tally of how many shooting stars he has seen and recently reached the number of 37. |
Career
Holmes is an astronomer. He works in an air and space museum and gives demonstrations during the day two days a week, but the other three are spent researching and mapping celestial objects. He has discovered 3 stars on his own and named each of them after Disney characters; Simbulis, Pascalia, and Alladis. He is also on a secret mission to find the outer reaches of whatever universe we exist in and possibly even find life on other planets. He knows that it is out there, but not in what form or stage in evolution it may be found in. He is working on a way to travel there now, and is closer to a breakthrough than many may even comprehend. He is passionate about his work and often gushes to his friends about his findings that are not secret, even if they may not really understand what he is talking about. Quote: "Adventure is out there!"

How do you feel about alien movies like Stargate or Aliens? Do you enjoy seeing the fun theories or frown upon them for thinking most life in space is dangerous? As an enthusiast when it comes to discovering in space, does this fuel or snuff your curiosity?
"I don't think they are harmful, since those who believe that there is more life out there would be inclined to be more open-minded about what it entails. No one really knows for sure what we would find if we were to journey outside our galaxy, so I think it is reasonable that we wonder about it and are trying to imagine the answers. It does not really affect my curiosity, since the movies are in essence just fantasy, and I still dream of one day finding the truth behind the mystery that fuels them."
