Personality
Birdie is a free-hearted kalon. She has a young soul that hasn't seemed to age much at all. This doesn't mean she is unintelligent, however. She is very bright and intuitive and often has a unique insight. She finds happiness and beauty in the simple things in life, never failing to find something to smile about. She can be sensitive, even if she doesn't show it, so it is important to watch your words around her. She hopes to one day find someone who will sweep her off her feet and be her other half, but she is comfortable just dreaming about them for now. She enjoys doing any activity that is out of the ordinary of the everyday crawl, even if it is just going to a farmer's market or taking a walk in the woods. Birdie is artistic, but she has more creative ways of completing her artwork. She has attempted paper-mache, origami, painting with marbles, and many more things. She is a bright soul and a magnet to everyone around her with her charismatic charm. |
Career
Birdie owns a small-town shop called "Bird and Ribbon." She sells books, trinkets, clothes, household decorations, jewelry, and many other interesting things. She has a spot in the store for showcasing some of her own art and also for displaying new artists each month and helping them to earn a little recognition by selling their creations. Her shop is well-known and loved amongst the people in her town, and with their loyalty and the tendency of tourists to stop in, she rarely has trouble with having enough business. She has plans to open up a small café next door, as soon as her neighboring business owner completes their move out of town. She hopes to create a comfortable and friendly setting where people can come and meet with friends and then find a treasure next door. Quote: WIP

- Why do you think society places such a high value on beauty? Do you believe that there is a "right" in beauty standards and fashion? Do you regard yourself as a fashionable individual?
"I think finding others attractive is a natural thing and just the way we have evolved, but I also think, that with how advanced our thinking has become, that we should also not put so much emphasis on it. It's okay to look at someone and think that they are good looking, or not, but it should not define how we view and treat them as an individual. Physical appearance is not something we can control, but how we live our lives and treat others definitely is.
I think that I have a fairly simple style, something that is not too flashy but that also makes me look well-kept and somewhat classy. Everyone has a different view on the "right" fashion and I think as long as it makes them happy and its not offensive to others, they should rock anything they want to."
